USATF Pacific Association
USA Track & Field (USATF) is the national governing body for track and field, long distance running, race walking and cross country - and is the United States’ member of the International Amateur Athletic Federation, the world governing body for Athletics, as well as a Group A member of the US Olympic Committee.
The Pacific Association (PA) is a member Association of USA Track & Field representing the geographic area of northern California and northwest Nevada. The PA Board of Athletics meets approximately every other month. All PA-USATF members are invited to attend Board meetings. Check the website for meeting dates and times.
The PA has about 8,000 athlete members - the second largest of all the USATF associations in the US - and over 125 member athletic clubs. The PA oversees and administers region-wide programs in track and field, long distance running, ultrarunning, race walking and youth athletics.
The Impala Racing Team is recognized and sanctioned by the USATF (our governing body), with the PA as our local association in which we compete. For information on PA races that our team will compete at this year, check out our current race schedule.
