Strength in Numbers

The Impala Racing Team is deep as it is strong. We have over 150 members or all age groups and running aspirations, many of whom are locally, regionally, and nationally ranked.
See below for types of membership benefits and check out our other pages to learn more about the process for joining the team.
Types of Membership
We have two main types of membership: Active and Affiliate. Active members train consistently with the team and receive coaching from our coaches on a regular basis. Impalas who are unable to train with the team (i.e. due to distance) but who race for and/or contribute to the team in other ways are Affiliate members. We also offer discounted Active membership for Students enrolled full time in school. We also grant Honorary memberships on a case-by-case basis to long-standing Impalas who have contributed greatly to the team.
Membership Benefits
Active (including Student and Honorary) members enjoy the benefit of coaching, weekly training sessions, travel support at “away” races and Sponsor benefits. All new members join as Active members. Membership benefits include:
Membership Dues:
Annual dues are used to pay for our coaches, some race entry fees, team travel, Impala parties, uniforms, and general administrative costs. Affiliate and student members pay reduced dues. The Board of Directors will also make arrangements for financial hardship on a case-by-case basis.
